We’ll walk with you every step of the way
The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at VIDA Recovery is offered both
in-person and online.
From Admissions, to Treatment, to Discharge, and Aftercare, you will be able to meet with our staff at our office or via a secure telehealth platform from anywhere in Texas with an internet connection.
Clients who are admitted to the IOP will be scheduled for one individual session per week with a licensed clinician, three three-hour group sessions per week (the core of the treatment process), and psychoeducation, family sessions, and case management as needed. The program is designed to be completed in 8 weeks. During those 8 weeks, clients are expected to attend relevant 12 Step Meetings (which are also available online). Random drug tests will be conducted throughout your treatment program.
Our staff is happy to share your treatment progress with whomever you desire: Child Protective Services, Probation or Parole Officers, or courts. Your signed Release of Information is necessary before we can share any clinical information with anyone, so you will always know what is being communicated and to whom.

FAQs
What is an IOP?
An IOP is an Intensive Outpatient Program. It is one step short of residential treatment for substance abuse. It allows you the flexibility to live at home and attend work or school, spend time with your family and loved ones, and still get the full treatment you need for your recovery. This means you will spend much of your time for eight weeks actively engaged in learning about yourself, your addiction, and the many factors that have kept you in the addiction for so long. One-on-one counseling, group education and processing, family sessions, and supplemental 12 step meetings are all on the agenda. Program integrity is an important part of our service delivery, and we value your right to confidentiality, dignity, and respect. We also expect accountability, and you will be randomly tested for the presence of substances in your body.
What are group meetings like?
Our groups meet for three hours at a time, three times a week. You will be participating in the groups at our office or online. The groups are facilitated by a licensed clinician who knows and understands your individualized treatment plan. Some of the time you will be learning about the addiction process, what recovery looks like, and coping strategies to help you get through tough times. At other times, you will be asked to share your experiences, struggles, and victories as your progress through treatment. Throughout the eight weeks of intensive treatment, you will learn how in addiction we lose sight of our physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual commitments, and in recovery we learn to build ourselves up in each of these areas.
What costs are involved?
Our services are usually covered by insurance (including Medicaid) for those with coverage. Talk to our Admissions Coordinator when you call to determine what financial resources might be available for your treatment.
